Compared with a decent modern integrated or budget power amp at this money, this asks for real vintage-amp money, and the market context says it’s above the usual used range. With recent comparable USD listings centered around US$200, and the upper quartile at US$250, US$399 is clearly ambitious unless this one has unusually strong provenance, a fresh service history, or extra value baked in.
That said, the GFA-5300 is a respected, straightforward Nelson Pass-era Adcom: clean, punchy, and capable of real current delivery in a compact chassis.
