Against the recent used-market anchor of €89 median and €108 at the 75th percentile, €111 for this pair is a touch ambitious rather than a steal. It is only slightly above the upper quartile, so it is not wildly out of line, but buyers should expect to negotiate a bit unless the condition or extras genuinely justify the premium.
The upside here is that a clean, well-kept wireless over-ear set from this line is usually an easy, practical buy: strong everyday sound, good isolation, and broad appeal for commuting or desk use. “Excellent” condition helps, especially if the pads, battery life, cable, and case are all present and in good shape; if those boxes are ticked, this is still a reasonable purchase, just not a bargain-basement one.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
