€790 is fair to slightly firm against a recent EUR used median of €694, but it is still comfortably within the normal market band and below the €994 upper quartile. It is not a bargain at this price, yet for an excellent-condition unit it is reasonable rather than stretched.
The M8 is a genuinely high-end DAP with a big, rich presentation, strong balanced output, and support for 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512, so the value case is about getting flagship sound without paying new-retail money. The appealing part here is the excellent condition, which matters on a large portable player like this; if the battery is healthy and the charger/box/cables are included, it’s an easy listen-first buy for someone who wants a serious Android-based player with real power and premium tonality.
