It’s priced at more than double the upper quartile, so I’d only consider it if the listing is actually for a much rarer or different item than described.
The PLAY:1 is still a well-regarded little Sonos speaker: compact, easy to place, and very solid for casual rooms, kitchens, or building a stereo pair. If it’s clean and fully working, the upside is getting a proven, simple multiroom speaker with good Sonos integration, but at €490 the value proposition breaks down fast unless there’s a major bundle or the title is wrong.
