That’s on the firm side for a DCD-560; recent asking prices for working examples cluster much lower, often around £20–£100, with cleaner, fully sorted units sometimes landing closer to £85–£100, so £264 only looks sensible if this one is exceptionally complete and serviced.
The DCD-560 is a respected early Denon player with the warm, smooth presentation many vintage hi-fi fans like, and it can be a very satisfying companion to a revealing system. At this price, I’d want strong evidence of a recent checkover, reliable disc loading, and the original remote/manual if possible; otherwise, the upside is more nostalgia and collectability than outright value.
