Erstaunlich großer Klang aus einem kleinen Gerät
Wer ein Bose Wave schon einmal gehört hat, weiß, warum diese Geräte so bekannt geworden sind: Der Klang wirkt erheblich größer, voller und kräftiger, als man es bei den kompakten Abmessungen erwarten würde.
Der Grund dafür ist die besondere Bose Waveguide-Lautsprechertechnologie. Im Inneren arbeitet nicht einfach nur ein kleiner Lautsprecher in einem Kunststoffgehäuse. Bose nutzt einen speziell geführten akustischen Kanal – einen sogenannten Waveguide –, über den der Schall innerhalb des Gehäuses geführt und unterstützt wird.
Dadurch erreicht das kleine Bose insbesondere im Bass- und Grundtonbereich eine erstaunliche Fülle. Stimmen klingen klar, Musik angenehm räumlich und der Klang bleibt auch bei höheren Lautstärken souverän.
