Der Verstärker lässt sich am Stromnetz ganz normal einschalten, hängt jedoch leider dauerhaft in der internen Schutzschaltung (Protection Mode) fest.
Das Problem äußert sich wie folgt:
Nach dem Anschalten blinkt der "Power Indicator" durchgehend grün.
Normalerweise sollte das Gerät nach einem 3- bis 5-sekündigen Selbsttest leise "klicken" (Freigabe des Schutzrelais) und das Lämpchen durchgehend leuchten.
Bei diesem Gerät bleibt das Klicken jedoch aus, die Leuchte blinkt ununterbrochen weiter und die Lautsprecherausgänge werden folglich nicht freigeschaltet (es kommt kein Ton heraus). Auch die roten Pegelanzeigen schlagen bei anliegendem Eingangssignal nicht aus.
Für HiFi-Schrauber und Elektronik-Bastler ist das ein sehr bekanntes Fehlerbild bei diesen alten, massiven Endstufen. Vermutlich müssen im Inneren Bauteile wie Kondensatoren oder Endstufen-Transistoren durchgemessen und getauscht werden.
Das Gerät verfügt auf der Rückseite über einen Spannungswahlschalter und ist korrekt auf unser 220V/240V Stromnetz eingestellt (kein 100V-Import).
Aufgrund des extrem hohen Gewichts von über 15 kg am liebsten an Selbstabholer in Schulzendorf abzugeben.
