Armstrong Audio traces its origins to 1932, when Claude Charles (C.C.) Jackson founded Armstrong Wireless & Television Ltd. in Camden, London. Initially producing public address systems, radios, and televisions—including equipment supplied during World War II—the company rode the hi-fi wave of the 1950s with its acclaimed "High Fidelity Sound" range of amplifiers and receivers. As manufacturing waned by the late 1970s, Armstrong pivoted to servicing and restoration, rebranding as Armstrong Hi-Fi & Video Services Ltd. and relocating to Walthamstow. In 2017, it recommitted to its audio heritage, leveraging over 45 years of expertise in repairing mid-range, high-end, studio-grade, and audiophile gear.
