Seller's Description

Denafrips Enyo Digital Analog Converter (DAC) Selling a Denafrips Enyo purchased from Dacman in Vic for $1500 in March 2024. Haven't used for 6 mnonths as  I moved to a system that has an inbuilt dac which can't be bypassed. So this unit is probably not broken in fully yet. As new condition.   Sounds fantastic being used with a pair of vintage Merdian M2 speakers.   Can supply receipt email from DACMan for warranty.   Can demo if my pre-amp isn't sold first (separate ad) Condition: As New / Mint Payment Method: EFT, Cash Region/State: (QLD) Queensland/Australia By JeffH 0 Comments   AUD $850 D

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

New, this DAC sat around the A$1,100–A$1,200 mark, so A$850 is not a steal but it’s a solid used price if it’s the current ENYO and not the older non-15th version. Typical used money for the original ENYO is usually more like A$700–A$900 depending on age, remote, and cosmetic condition, so this lands in fair-to-slightly-ambitious territory rather than bargain-bin.

Before buying, confirm exactly which revision it is and that the seller has the PSU, remote, and original packaging, since these units are awkward and expensive to ship safely. Also check that all inputs lock properly, both RCA/XLR outputs work cleanly, and there’s no channel imbalance, hum, or intermittent dropouts after warm-up.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Denafrips

Denafrips emerged in 2012 from Guangzhou, China, founded by Mr. Zhao, an electronics engineer with a Bachelor’s degree and over 15 years at a major OEM manufacturer. Raised amid a family of trained engineers, Zhao launched the brand as a modest five-person venture in the Panyu district, where it has since expanded into a 15,000-square-foot facility employing 40 to 90 staff. All research, development, assembly, quality control, and most manufacturing occur in-house, embodying a commitment to self-reliance in a hub of high-end audio production.

The brand specializes in proprietary discrete R-2R digital-to-analog converters (DACs), its cornerstone products, alongside CD transports, digital-to-digital converters, preamplifiers, power amplifiers, and headphone amplifiers. This lineup, grown from four initial DACs to over a dozen, prioritizes analog-like warmth and natural timbre over sterile measurements, with the name Denafrips acronymizing values like Dynamic, Exquisite, Natural, Attractive, Fidelity, Refined, Intoxicating, Pure, and Sophisticated.

Denafrips holds a strong position in the high-end audiophile market, celebrated for innovative engineering, meticulous craftsmanship, and exceptional value that challenges pricier Western rivals. Positive reviews and owner feedback worldwide affirm its sonic prowess, backed by a three-year warranty and direct-to-consumer sales, cementing its status as a Chinese pioneer delivering refined digital purity without inflated premiums.
