The timing is fine here: this is an older HEOS-era speaker, so the main question is value versus its still-usable multiroom streaming role rather than chasing the latest platform. At €140, it sits above the €100 median and even over the €120 75th percentile, so this is ambitious rather than a bargain.
That said, the HEOS 3 is a solid little network speaker with good volume for its size, easy placement, and a reputation for clean, punchy sound in a compact footprint. If it’s complete and working properly, it can still be a worthwhile buy for someone who wants a tidy wireless speaker and doesn’t mind its generation; but at this price, I’d want the condition to be genuinely excellent and the power supply included.
