This is one of Denon’s more respected vintage direct-drives, and kr SEK 6,000 looks fair to slightly good if it’s complete and working properly. Recent asking prices for clean examples cluster around roughly kr SEK 5,800 to kr SEK 9,500, with serviced or very tidy units often landing closer to the upper end, so this is not a cheap lottery-ticket price but it is in the right zone.
What makes it worth a look is the DP-57L’s solid speed stability, thoughtful automation, and generally high-end feel for the money; it’s the kind of deck that can still sound very composed with a good cartridge. The real upside is originality and completeness: the correct arm parts, dust cover, feet, and a healthy auto/mechanism matter more than with many simpler tables. If it’s unmolested and behaves well, this is a sensible buy rather than a project.
