That makes it a sensible buy if the unit is clean and fully working, because the Saturn R is one of Rega’s more respected CD players: lively timing, strong rhythm, and a very engaging presentation that still holds up well against newer digital front ends. The real upside is that well-kept Rega source gear tends to age gracefully when cared for, so original packaging, remote, and documented ownership would all add confidence and value.
