Our Thoughts RADAR AI

Against recent EUR comparables, €275 sits above the €248 75th percentile, so this is an ambitious ask rather than a fair-market bargain. It is not wildly off for an excellent-condition unit, but it’s priced at a premium to the current used market and would be best justified only if the cosmetic condition is truly spotless and the sale is complete.

The appeal here is still real: this is a very strong all-in-one smart speaker with big, room-filling sound, surprisingly deep bass for its size, and top-tier integration if the buyer is already in the Apple ecosystem. The most compelling upside is a clean, well-kept example, ideally with the original box and power cable, but at €275 the buyer should be comfortable paying extra for convenience and condition rather than value.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Apple

Apple Inc. traces its origins to April 1, 1976, when Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, along with Ronald Wayne, founded the company in the Jobs family garage in Cupertino, California. What began as a modest venture to build personal computers evolved into a tech powerhouse, with early forays into audio via the 2001 launch of iTunes and the iconic iPod portable music player.

In the hi-fi realm, Apple focuses on integrated consumer audio solutions rather than traditional separates like amplifiers, turntables, or DACs. The company is renowned for wireless speakers such as the short-lived iPod Hi-Fi (2006-2007) and the more advanced HomePod series, alongside premium headphones including AirPods and AirPods Max. These products emphasize seamless ecosystem integration, portability, and digital streaming over analog purism.

Apple holds a dominant position in the premium consumer audio market, blending high-end aspirations with mass-market accessibility. While not a staple among traditional hi-fi purists—who often critique its closed ecosystem and past efforts like the iPod Hi-Fi as underwhelming—its products command loyalty for sonic refinement, computational audio processing, and design excellence, positioning it as a mid-to-high-tier contender for savvy buyers prioritizing convenience over boutique esoterica.
