Super rare and great sounding Bedini 25/25 DE power amplifier.Has been torn down and fully serviced. All capacitors were replaced with high quality parts sourced from Mouser: European Kemet & Vishay/BC electrolytic caps, and Japanese Nichicon electrolytic and poly caps. All of the electrolytic capacitors tested out of spec on a Peak Atlas LCR45, as well as being over 40 years old. While none had leaked or shorted, it was time for them to go. The original yellow Electrocube capacitors tested within spec, but they were still replaced due to their age and many heat cycles.Internal dust was cleaned out, solder joints were inspected and touched up where necessary, internal ground points were inspected and verified to be tight and clean, etc. Overall it's in great shape internally. A really nice surviving example.All of the original removed components will be included, as well as a bill of materials of all the exact parts that went into this unit (parts I already on hand are not included in the BOM).Shows plenty of cosmetic wear to the outer anodized aluminum case. Scuffs, scratches, rubbed off lettering on the front, etc. It is not a show piece, but it still looks cool on display. Study all the photos, if perfect cosmetics are a top expectation for you, this unit will not meet them.This amp fires right up and works great. It was burned in for a few hours after servicing pushing a vintage pair of Ohm Walsh Model F speakers and ran great. It sounds awesome. Lots of detail. Just a great circuit.This unit runs warm by design, so be sure to keep it properly ventilated wherever it is being put into use.Overall a beautiful old Bedini amp. If the recap was done properly, the unit is cosmetically clean, and it includes proof of work or original parts, the upside is in owning a scarce, well-loved classic; at this ask, though, buyers should expect exceptional condition and documentation to justify it.
