That said, the SA-9500 II is a respected mid-’70s Pioneer with the kind of muscular, smooth solid-state sound many vintage fans chase, and it has real appeal for a clean, complete, survivor-grade unit. The upside is mostly in condition and provenance: fresh service, original knobs, intact faceplate, and documented maintenance matter a lot here. For a piece at this level, the buyer should want proof that it’s truly been sorted rather than just cleaned up.
