Our Thoughts RADAR AI

Apple’s current in-ear model has a strong reputation for convenience, seamless iPhone integration, and very solid everyday sound for the size. At €25, this is a strong deal against the recent used-market median of €70 and even the €39 25th percentile, so it lands well below normal asking levels for this model.

That makes it an attractive buy if the batteries are healthy and both earbuds charge properly. The upside here is obvious: even with the usual caveat that true-wireless used gear lives or dies by battery wear, the price is low enough that a clean, fully working pair is worth moving on quickly. If the case and tips are included, it gets even better.

About Apple

Apple Inc. traces its origins to April 1, 1976, when Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, along with Ronald Wayne, founded the company in the Jobs family garage in Cupertino, California. What began as a modest venture to build personal computers evolved into a tech powerhouse, with early forays into audio via the 2001 launch of iTunes and the iconic iPod portable music player.

In the hi-fi realm, Apple focuses on integrated consumer audio solutions rather than traditional separates like amplifiers, turntables, or DACs. The company is renowned for wireless speakers such as the short-lived iPod Hi-Fi (2006-2007) and the more advanced HomePod series, alongside premium headphones including AirPods and AirPods Max. These products emphasize seamless ecosystem integration, portability, and digital streaming over analog purism.

Apple holds a dominant position in the premium consumer audio market, blending high-end aspirations with mass-market accessibility. While not a staple among traditional hi-fi purists—who often critique its closed ecosystem and past efforts like the iPod Hi-Fi as underwhelming—its products command loyalty for sonic refinement, computational audio processing, and design excellence, positioning it as a mid-to-high-tier contender for savvy buyers prioritizing convenience over boutique esoterica.
