Recently purchased a custom stereo counsel from from the early 60s that housed some very special items from that era and the owner spared nothing when it came to his listening pleasure so look at my other auctions in the coming weeks as I will be listing them. This auction is for a hH.H. Scott 299B Stereo Integrated Amplifier in immaculate condition. It has been fully tested with a couple capacitors replaced and is ready to go. The HH Scott 299B is a vintage stereo integrated vacuum tube amplifier made by H.H. Scott Inc. around 1958–1961. It is a classic piece of early high-fidelity (hi-fi) audio equipment prized by collectors and audiophiles for its warm sound quality and signature gold faceplate.
At US$800, this lands just under the US$810 median and right at the US$800 25th percentile, so it reads as a fair-to-good buy rather than a bargain-bin score.
