Unknown condition makes this harder to judge, but A$900 is well above the A$453 median and even clears the A$677 75th percentile for recent used AUD listings, so it reads as ambitious unless the deck is exceptionally clean, upgraded, or bundled with a genuinely valuable cartridge and accessories. Without those extras, the asking price is hard to justify against the current used market.
The RP3 remains a very capable, well-regarded belt-drive table: simple, musically engaging, and easy to live with if the bearings, speed stability, and arm are healthy. It’s a sensible buy only if the seller can show a tidy service history, intact dust cover, and a strong cartridge; otherwise, a patient buyer should expect to pay closer to the middle of the market.
