A used Denon PMA-770 at €300 sits above the usual used market for this model: against the recent EUR comps, it’s over the €246 75th percentile and well above the €193 median, so this is an ambitious ask rather than a bargain. If a new equivalent is long gone or hard to source, that explains some premium, but on price alone it wants to be in especially clean, fully working shape to justify itself.
The upside is that the PMA-770 is a solid, respected integrated with the sort of straightforward, musical Denon presentation many listeners still like for everyday hi-fi use. If it’s been cared for, with quiet controls, stable outputs, and no repair history to worry about, it can still be a very satisfying buy—but at €300, I’d want strong condition, proof of service, or extras to make the value feel right.
