The timing doesn’t matter much here unless this is one of Behringer’s older passive 18-inch boxes rather than a newer replacement, because the value is driven more by condition and working history than by generation. At €230, it lands above the €147 median and just under the €289 75th percentile, so this reads as a fair asking price rather than a bargain, but not a stretch if both cabinets are healthy.
That’s a reasonable buy if you want simple, high-output bass for PA use on a budget: Behringer’s 18-inch passive subs are known for doing a lot of work per euro, and 400 W RMS is enough for modest rigs when paired with the right amp. The upside is mostly practicality—big cabinets, easy resale, and solid club/DJ duty—but check for voice-coil rub, torn cones, damaged Speakon sockets, and any sign they’ve been abused at high levels.
