Because this is the original Xerxes rather than the later 20/20 Plus versions, the timing matters a bit: it’s a respected classic, but age and setup matter more than with newer decks. At £875, this looks fair-to-good for the UK market if it’s complete and mechanically healthy; comparable used Xerxes examples with arm and PSU land in roughly the £700–£1,000 zone, with cleaner or better-specified packages pushing higher.
The upside is that a well-set-up Xerxes still has that trademark pace, timing, and drive that made Roksan famous, and it can be a very satisfying table if you value rhythm and musical flow. The real buy here is condition: confirm the suspension/bearing/plinth are sound, the motor and speed control behave properly, and any arm, PSU, lid, and original parts are included, because missing pieces can quickly erase the value.
