The VM95 family is well liked because it scales sensibly: the body is modest, but the ML stylus is the serious part, giving clean inner-groove performance and a more refined top end than basic ellipticals. If the stylus is genuine and in healthy shape, this is the sort of cartridge that can make a very good turntable feel upgraded immediately; ideally, confirm stylus hours, mounting hardware, and that the cantilever is straight.
