Condition is unknown, which matters here, but at US$3,400 this is still a touch high for a used AVM 70 unless it’s the newer 8K version with clean provenance and extras. New street pricing on the 15.2 processor has sat around the low US$3,600s, and used examples commonly land a good bit lower, so I’d call this more ambitious than a bargain.
That said, the AVM 70 earns its reputation: excellent ARC Genesis room correction, strong bass management, and genuinely top-tier immersive soundstage performance. If this one is an 8K unit, original-owner, and includes the remote, mic, and box, the premium is easier to justify; if not, there’s enough supply that a buyer can probably wait for a better-numbered listing.
