The Arcam ST60 is notable as Arcam’s first dedicated high-performance streamer, packing a top-tier ESS Sabre DAC and Roon/MQA support into a clean chassis. At A$1,800 for a like-new unit, this asking price sits well above the typical used market, where the ST60 commonly trades between A$900 and A$1,350 (based on recent US and AU demo/outlet sales of A$990–A$1,650 converted to AUD). Even the highest-end used listings rarely exceed A$1,500, so A$1,800 is clearly ambitious and not a bargain.
That doesn’t mean it’s worthless: the ST60 delivers excellent sound with AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify/Tidal Connect, and balanced XLR outputs, making it a strong companion for Arcam’s HDA amplifiers. If the seller is the original owner and includes the remote, power cable, and original packaging, the premium gets a bit more justifiable—but only if the unit is truly pristine and fully functional. For most buyers, waiting for a listing closer to A$1,100–A$1,300 would be the smarter play.
