About This Model
The NAD C320 is a stereo integrated amplifier delivering 40 watts per channel into 8Ω, with impressive dynamic power reserves of up to 160W into 2Ω thanks to NAD's Impedance Sensing Circuitry. It offers seven line-level inputs - including CD, Disc, Video, Aux, Tuner, and two Tape inputs - alongside a Pre-Out, headphone jack, and tape outputs, making it well suited to a traditional multi-source hi-fi setup. The discrete all-analogue circuitry is built around a toroid power transformer with a short signal path and gold-plated sockets, while Soft Clipping keeps distortion in check at higher volumes. Bass and treble tone controls are on board, with a Tone Defeat switch for a direct signal path, and NAD Link allows integration with compatible NAD system components. Frequency response is rated at 20-20,000 Hz (±0.3 dB) with total harmonic distortion of just 0.03%.

A great opportunity to own a NAD C320 at this price point.

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

This is a fair ask, slightly to the firm side: at US$137, it sits above the US$120 median but still inside the normal spread, below the US$133 75th percentile by only a touch. That makes it reasonable rather than a steal, and I’d treat it as a buy if the unit is clean and functioning properly.

The C320 is well-liked for its honest, muscular sound and straightforward, no-drama reliability, so a healthy example can be a very satisfying everyday integrated. The upside here is getting a respected NAD workhorse without paying top-of-market money; just make sure the controls are quiet, the input switching is solid, and the unit hasn’t developed age-related scratchiness or channel imbalance.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About NAD

NAD Electronics was founded in 1972 in London by a group of European audio importers frustrated with the hype surrounding Japanese hi-fi products. Led by visionary American executive Martin L. Borish and brilliant engineer Bjorn Erik Edvardsen, the company emerged from a quest to deliver high-performance audio at accessible prices. Their breakthrough came with the NAD 3020 integrated amplifier, the best-selling hi-fi amp in history, which embodied a philosophy of stripping away non-essentials to prioritize pure sound quality.

The brand focuses on core hi-fi categories, excelling in amplifiers—pioneering Class A/B, Class G, and hybrid digital designs—alongside integrated receivers, AV processors, turntables, CD and cassette players, and modern streamers. While not venturing into speakers, headphones, or cables, NAD emphasizes source components and amplification that integrate seamlessly into home theater and custom installation setups, always upholding principles of innovation, simplicity, performance, and value.

Today, as part of Canada's Lenbrook Group and sold in over 80 countries, NAD holds a commanding mid-tier position in the market, revered by audiophiles for affordable excellence rather than ultra-high-end excess. Its "Truth in Power" legacy earns cult status among knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, award-winning gear that punches above its price, blending vintage heritage with contemporary streaming and hybrid tech.
