Condition is unknown, so US$671 lands on the ambitious side for a Hitachi PS-17 unless this is unusually clean, fully serviced, and complete with the right headshell, dust cover, and documentation. Typical real-world used examples I found cluster much lower, with one recent PS-17 sale around US$220 and another listing at about US$671, which suggests this asking price is top-end rather than a normal buy.
That said, the PS-17 is a well-regarded vintage belt-drive deck from Hitachi’s better era, and a nice original example can still appeal for its solid build, clean automatic operation, and easy living-room-friendly presentation. If it’s truly original-owner, recently serviced, and includes the full set of accessories, the premium is easier to justify; if not, I’d want sharper photos and proof of function before paying up.
