Overview

Dan D’Agostino's Pendulum Integrated Amplifier offers reference-level engineering in a compact chassis, borrowing JFET input circuit topology derived from the Momentum C4 Preamplifier.

A 750VA toroidal transformer, supported by a 25,000μF capacitor bank drives 120W into 8 ohms and 240W into 4 ohms output.

The optional digital module is fitted, making the unit truly an "all in one" smart integrated amplifier. The optional digital module provides onboard streaming including TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, and Roon Ready operation, along with Ethernet and Wifi connectivity and an HDMI input.

The remote control operates via Bluetooth and includes an LCD interface, which mirrors the amplifier’s Swiss watch-inspired front panel display.

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

A$27,990 looks like a strong buy here: it sits below the A$26,716 25th percentile only slightly above it, and well under the A$31,589 median for recent AUD comparables. That puts it in the lower end of the market rather than the “ambitious” zone, especially for a Dan D’Agostino integrated with the streaming module.

What makes it appealing is the usual D’Agostino mix of real drive, grip, and refinement, plus the convenience of an all-in-one reference front end for a serious system. If it’s clean, complete, and from a careful owner, the combination of prestige build quality and integrated streaming makes this a particularly sensible way into the brand at this price.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Dan D'Agostino

Dan D’Agostino Master Audio Systems is a U.S. high-end audio brand founded in 2011 and based in Cave Creek, Arizona. It was created by Dan D’Agostino, one of the most influential names in modern American amplification and the longtime founder of Krell. The brand grew out of his decades of work in high-performance audio, with a clear emphasis on combining serious engineering, distinctive industrial design, and a deeply music-first philosophy.

The company is best known for amplification: flagship integrated amplifiers, power amplifiers, and preamplifiers are its core products, alongside phono stages and DACs in some lines. Its components are built for serious two-channel systems rather than broad consumer audio, and the lineup is organized around a few highly refined families rather than a wide mass-market catalog. Dan D’Agostino does not focus on speakers, turntables, headphones, or cables as its main identity.

In the market, Dan D’Agostino sits firmly in the ultra-high-end, boutique category. It is a statement brand associated with audiophile reference systems, luxury cabinetry, and very high performance expectations. Buyers tend to see it as a prestige manufacturer with strong engineering credibility and a distinctive visual signature, aimed at enthusiasts who want no-compromise amplification at the top end of the market.
