The TEAC TN-175 is a fully automatic belt-drive turntable built around a high-torque DC motor and precision stainless steel spindle, spinning records at 33 or 45 RPM. Its fully automatic tonearm moves into position at the start of play and returns home once the record ends - no manual cueing required. The static balanced straight tonearm comes pre-fitted with an Audio-Technica AT3600L VM-type cartridge and is set to a tracking force of 3.5g. A built-in MM phono preamp with a Phono/Line switch means it can connect directly to any line-level input without a separate phono stage, outputting via gold-plated RCA jacks. The MDF cabinet and rubber bumper feet work together to damp vibration, while wow and flutter is rated at 0.2% or less - solid figures for an entry-to-mid-level deck.
