This VM95 Series cartridge with 2.2 x 0.12 mil Microlinear
stylus fits half-inch mount turntables. The cartridge offers excellent channel
separation and low distortion for outstanding tonal quality. The durable,
low-resonance housing includes threaded inserts that enable the cartridge to be
mounted to the headshell with just two screws – no nuts required. And since all
VM95 Series share the same body, the stylus can be replaced with any of the six
interchangeable AT-VMN95 replacement styli.

This is a current-production cartridge rather than a discontinued collectible, so timing matters less than condition and stylus hours. At US$160, it lands well below the US$240 median and even under the US$119 to US$361 middle band’s center of gravity, making it a solid buy rather than an ambitious ask.
The AT-VM95ML is well liked for its microline stylus, which can pull clean detail, track inner grooves well, and deliver a notably refined sound for the money. The real upside here is that it’s a strong performance-per-dollar cartridge if the stylus is genuinely low-mileage and the body is intact; just make sure the stylus assembly is original and the seller can speak to use history, since that’s the only material value risk on this kind of listing.
