Rega Aethos Integrated Amplifier (Solid State) Regretful sale of my Rega Aethos integrated amp. It is a truly wonderful amp, and I am only selling because I was given the opportunity to upgrade to an amplifier three times the price of the Rega. The Aethos was purchased in June 2023 and delivered in August 2023 (receipt available). It is in excellent condition, with some minor scuffing on the top (probably cleanable) and one tiny pinprick scratch - see photos, which form part of the description. This is a genuinely wonderful sounding amp, and has received many universally positive reviews.
This A$4,650 asking price for the used Rega Aethos is fair, sitting just A$32 above the median of A$4,618 from recent Australian listings and comfortably within the typical used range of A$4,124 to A$5,232. It is not a bargain, but it is a solid, honest ask for an excellent-condition unit that aligns perfectly with the current market.
