For a clean DR-M20, that’s a fair-to-good asking price rather than a bargain; comparable used examples have been showing roughly around €135 to €350, with many sensible listings clustering closer to €150–€220. At €250, this is comfortably in the middle of the pack: not cheap, but not out of line if it’s genuinely sorted and ready to play.
What makes this one worth considering is the DR-M20’s reputation as a solid, serious Denon deck: 3-head, dual-capstan, and generally respected for good transport stability and lively playback once properly serviced. The upside is strongest if it’s been checked, belts and rollers are fresh, and it comes with original cosmetic bits or proof of recent work; if not, budget for maintenance, because cassette decks this age are often only as good as their last service.
