Timing matters a bit here because this is the later Brio generation and the market has a clear used reference, so the question is really value rather than novelty. At €699, the asking price is above the recent median of €428 and also above the 75th percentile of €593, so it reads ambitious rather than a bargain.
That said, the Brio is a well-liked, compact integrated with lively, controlled sound and an easy match for modest-to-mid sensitivity speakers, so there’s real appeal if the unit is clean and complete. In excellent condition, with the right inputs and original packaging, it can still make sense for a buyer who wants a current-generation Rega and is willing to pay a premium. I’d treat it as a buy only if the seller can justify the price with exceptional condition, provenance, or extras; otherwise there’s enough room in the market to wait.
