Sansui AU7900 Integrated Amplifier (Solid State) Beautiful sounding amplifier in excellent condition for its age. Recently serviced. All inputs working well. Sound is clean with no scratchy pots etc. I am happy to demo in person, also happy to vid call a demo if your interstate to show all working as stated. I have used it with Wharfedale Linton, KLH Model 5s, Heresy 4s and Serhan Swift Mu2s ... all sound great. Happy to box and ship at your expense, though I have boxes and packing I can use. This is a fair-to-strong ask in AUD, not a bargain-basement price. Comparable market chatter puts working AU-7900s roughly around A$750-A$1,250, with nicer examples and restored units pushing higher, so A$1,500 sits a bit above the usual upper end but not outrageously so for an “excellent” example.
What makes it worth considering is the AU-7900’s reputation for clean 75W-per-channel drive, solid build, and that classic Sansui balance of grip and musicality. In excellent cosmetic condition, it’s the kind of vintage integrated that can be a very satisfying long-term keeper if it’s been properly serviced and is fully functional; at this level, I’d want confirmation of recent maintenance, bias/DC offset stability, and that the controls are quiet.
