Sansui AU-666 Stereo Vintage Amplifier Operational.IMPORTANT: This amplifier delivers an excellent vintage sound and has approximately 35 watts of power, making it a powerful and enjoyable unit for vintage audio enthusiasts. The amplifier has some minor stains and scratches on the front panel and on a few of the buttons. Overall, it is in good, well-cared-for condition. The unit was tested for more than 8 continuous hours and performed well throughout the test. The Phono stage was also tested and is working perfectly.The Tape Monitor switch needs to be moved between Source and Playback, as the sound cuts out and then returns when the switch is moved. Some of the switches may also require contact cleaner. We do not know if this is what is causing the issue, but the unit is being sold with this condition.A test video was recorded to the amplifier. At this price, it’s worth buying if the unit is clean, original, and recently serviced or clearly well cared for; the upside is real because these are desirable vintage pieces and good examples don’t linger. Just make sure the basics are solid, since age-related service needs matter more than cosmetics here.
