This is a buyer’s market only if the seller is flexible, because US$597 sits well above the usual used spread for this model: the median is US$385, with the 75th percentile at US$449. At this asking price, it reads as ambitious rather than fair, and I’d want either exceptional condition, fresh service, or valuable extras to justify it.
That said, the DP-45F is a respected fully automatic direct-drive deck, and a clean, working example can be a very satisfying everyday table for someone who values convenience and reliability. The real upside is if it comes from a careful owner with the dust cover, headshell, and original parts intact; otherwise, I’d negotiate hard and only pay this much for a truly outstanding unit.
