Offered is „Avantgarde Acoustic Trio G1“ by AVantGarde as second-hand device from the category „Standing Speaker“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 2389323144 ends on 29.10.2026 at 12:07 o'clock.
This is a serious horn-speaker proposition, and the asking price is very ambitious. Against the recent used-market anchor of €2,667 median and €5,625 at the 75th percentile, €20,000 sits well above typical asking levels and only makes sense if this is a particularly special, heavily optioned, or exceptionally preserved example.
What makes it worth considering is the Trio G1’s reputation for effortless dynamics, scale, and very high efficiency — the sort of speaker that can make modest amplification sound far bigger than it is. For a buyer, the real upside is in provenance and completeness: original boxes, factory accessories, documented ownership, and proof of careful setup matter a lot here. At this price, confirm driver condition, cabinet finish, and whether any service history or upgrades are included.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Avantgarde Acoustic, a German high-end audio brand, traces its origins to the mid-1980s in Lautertal, where founders Holger Fromme and Matthias Ruff united their passions for music and engineering to pursue an audacious goal: crafting the world's finest loudspeakers. Fromme, with his technology marketing expertise, partnered with designer-engineer Ruff to pioneer horn loudspeaker designs that challenged conventional wisdom. This owner-operated family business has remained steadfast in Germany's Black Forest region, embodying a heritage of handmade precision and unyielding innovation for over three decades.
The brand specializes in horn loudspeakers, renowned for their exceptional efficiency, low distortion, and explosive dynamics, paired with striking, sculptural aesthetics that rival modern design icons. Complementing these flagships are high-quality amplifiers tailored to drive their demanding loads, ensuring seamless integration. Avantgarde eschews mass-market categories like turntables, DACs, headphones, or cables, focusing instead on proprietary horn technologies that blend traditional acoustics with cutting-edge engineering for pure, powerful sound reproduction.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end niche, Avantgarde commands reverence among discerning audiophiles for turning listening into transcendent events, defying industry giants through uncompromising artistry and performance. Its products appeal to collectors and connoisseurs who prize rarity, efficiency, and live-concert realism over mainstream accessibility, solidifying a cult status in the global hi-fi market.
