This is a seller’s market at this price: at US$241, it lands well above the 75th percentile of US$132 and looks ambitious versus the recent median of US$114. Unless the unit has unusually strong provenance or includes standout extras, the asking price is hard to justify for a standard used example.
That said, this is a respected integrated amp with a straightforward, musical presentation and plenty of everyday drive, so a clean, fully working unit still has real appeal. It’s worth considering only if condition is genuinely excellent, the controls are quiet, and you value a dependable Yamaha workhorse enough to pay a premium; otherwise, there are better-value buys closer to the US$100–US$132 band.
