A$150 is cheap for an Audio Note digital piece like this; even without a live market scrape here, that is well into bargain territory for a well-regarded UK-made DAC/server-era Audio Note component. If it’s fully working and the seller is genuine, this is the kind of asking price that leaves plenty of room versus typical used hi-fi pricing in AUD.
What makes it appealing is the Audio Note house sound: usually rich, smooth, and very listenable rather than hyper-etched, with enough refinement to suit a serious system. In excellent condition, the upside is strong if it includes the original PSU, remote, or any documentation, and if the digital inputs/outputs are confirmed healthy. At this price, I’d mainly want proof it powers up, locks to signal, and hasn’t been sitting with neglected caps or output-stage issues.
