Our Thoughts RADAR AI

Recent comparable asks for this model cluster around €80, with a typical band from about €74 to €91, so €100 is a bit ambitious rather than a bargain. It’s not wildly off, but it sits above the upper end of the recent market, so I’d want to see something extra to justify the premium.

That said, it’s a genuinely well-liked little speaker: compact, easy to place, and very strong for voice, casual streaming, and surprisingly full sound from a small box. Excellent condition helps, especially if it’s tidy, fully functional, and includes the original power lead and packaging. If those extras are there, it’s still a decent buy; if not, there’s room to negotiate.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Apple

Apple Inc. traces its origins to April 1, 1976, when Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, along with Ronald Wayne, founded the company in the Jobs family garage in Cupertino, California. What began as a modest venture to build personal computers evolved into a tech powerhouse, with early forays into audio via the 2001 launch of iTunes and the iconic iPod portable music player.

In the hi-fi realm, Apple focuses on integrated consumer audio solutions rather than traditional separates like amplifiers, turntables, or DACs. The company is renowned for wireless speakers such as the short-lived iPod Hi-Fi (2006-2007) and the more advanced HomePod series, alongside premium headphones including AirPods and AirPods Max. These products emphasize seamless ecosystem integration, portability, and digital streaming over analog purism.

Apple holds a dominant position in the premium consumer audio market, blending high-end aspirations with mass-market accessibility. While not a staple among traditional hi-fi purists—who often critique its closed ecosystem and past efforts like the iPod Hi-Fi as underwhelming—its products command loyalty for sonic refinement, computational audio processing, and design excellence, positioning it as a mid-to-high-tier contender for savvy buyers prioritizing convenience over boutique esoterica.
