Offered is „ETNA LAMBDA SL NEU MC System Referenz Moving Coil OVP Fachhandel“ by Lyra as new device from the category „Pick-up MC“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 5079500798 ends on 31.10.2026 at 09:30 o'clock.
This one is a fairly recent-generation piece, so timing matters less than with older analog gear; the bigger question is whether this asking price reflects the market for a premium example. At €8,800, it sits essentially on top of the €8,766 median and only a touch above the €8,822 75th percentile, so this reads as fair-to-slightly-ambitious rather than a bargain.
That still makes sense for a well-regarded top-tier turntable, since the draw is the very low-noise presentation, strong speed stability, and the kind of resolution that rewards a serious front end. If the listing is clean, complete, and from a careful owner, the premium is easy to understand; just make sure the suspension, armboard, cartridge matching, and any included extras are documented, because those details matter more here than chasing a small discount.

Lyra Analog emerged from a visionary collaboration among three audio pioneers: American designer Jonathan Carr, Japanese master-craftsman Yoshinori Mishima, and Norwegian business leader Stig Bjørge. Founded in Japan, the brand embodies a commitment to original engineering and artisanal precision, with all products hand-built from the ground up under meticulous supervision. This heritage reflects Japan's revered tradition of craftsmanship, prioritizing long-lasting transducers that push analog playback boundaries.
The brand specializes exclusively in high-end phono cartridges, such as the acclaimed Delos, Kleos, Atlas, and SPT models. These moving-coil designs extract unparalleled texture, transparency, and dynamic contrast from vinyl records, delivering immersive emotional depth. Lyra avoids broader categories like amplifiers, speakers, or headphones, focusing instead on transducers that redefine analog fidelity through innovative materials and construction.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, Lyra commands reverence among audiophiles and vinyl enthusiasts for its industry-leading advances and limited availability. Crafted to be among the finest in their class, these cartridges appeal to discerning collectors seeking maximum revelation from analog sources, blending cutting-edge design with Japanese build quality that ensures enduring performance.
