Ein Ortofon SPU Meister Silver GM MC Tonabnehmer mit originaler nackter elliptischer Nadel in einem sehr guten Zustand.
Das SPU Meister Silver schlägt ein wenig die Brücke zwischen den Welten.
Dank 6N Silberdraht klingt es deutlich offener und detailreicher als klassische SPUs. Im Vergleich zu anderen modernen Top-Modellen wie dem Royal mit Replicant-Schliff bleibt es aber erdiger und bewahrt mehr vom originalen, druckvollen SPU-Charakter.
Für diesen Job habe ich aber mein SPU 85th Anniversary, welches mir ehrlich gesagt etwas besser gefällt. Daher darf das Meister Silver wieder gehen.
Der Tonabnehmer selbst hat max 100 Stunden gesehen, wenn überhaupt und befindet sich in einem sehr guten bis neuwertigen Zustand.

Timing matters a bit here because this is a current-model SPU rather than a vintage sleeper, and at €999 it lands below the maker’s €1,999 list and under most used asks I’d expect for a clean example. That makes it look like a strong buy rather than a merely fair one, especially if the stylus hours are genuinely low.
The SPU Meister Silver is prized for that big, dense, engaging SPU presentation with better tracking and a touch more openness than the classic brass-bodied versions. If it’s complete, properly packed, and the cantilever/stylus check out, this is the sort of listing that rewards a serious analog setup. The only real caution is the usual one for cartridges: condition is everything, so verify hours, test results, and whether any mounting hardware or original box is included.
