Offered is „Vanguard II“ by Trigon as second-hand device from the category „Phono Amplifier“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 5326143259 ends on 02.11.2026 at 17:43 o'clock.
Are you looking for a capable MM/MC phono stage rather than a prestige badge? At €333, this is a strong bargain: it sits well below the €644 25th-percentile asking price from 13 comparable listings, versus a €1,415 median. Assuming the unit is complete and working, the price is unusually attractive rather than merely fair.
The Vanguard II is well regarded for its unusually comprehensive cartridge matching: gain from 42–66 dB, broad MC loading, and adjustable capacitance make it easy to optimise for everything from MM to low-output MC. It also uses a separate power supply, useful for positioning the phono stage close to the turntable and keeping the signal path short. Check that the original supply and interconnect are included, and confirm all switches operate cleanly; otherwise, this looks like a very worthwhile entry into serious vinyl playback.

Trigon Audio, officially Trigon Elektronik GmbH, emerged in September 1996 from Germany, embodying a steadfast commitment to crafting high-end hi-fi components that prioritize authentic music reproduction over unattainable luxury.
