At £140, this sits below the £147 25th percentile and well under the £162 median for recent used comps, so it reads as a strong buy rather than a merely fair one. For a network streamer that was a serious step-up piece when new, that’s a very decent asking price in today’s used market.
The NODE 2i is well liked because it’s compact, easy to live with, and does the core streaming job cleanly while integrating nicely into a proper hi-fi system. “Excellent” condition at this price is the sweet spot: if it’s fully working and comes with the power supply and remote, it’s an easy recommendation for someone wanting a capable streamer without paying new-money premiums.

Bluesound emerged in 2013 from Canada's Lenbrook Group, the powerhouse behind revered hi-fi marques NAD and PSB. Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, the brand was born from a bold vision to fuse wireless multi-room audio with genuine high-fidelity reproduction, reimagining home sound for a streaming era. Debuting at Munich's hi-fi showcase before a full CES reveal in 2014, Bluesound drew on Lenbrook's decades of audio innovation—pioneered since the 1970s—to deliver hi-res performance without compromise.
The brand specializes in wireless multi-room streaming components, anchored by its proprietary BluOS platform for seamless, intuitive control across devices. Iconic products like the NODE streamer, POWERNODE amplifier, PULSE speakers, and VAULT music server form the core lineup, emphasizing high-resolution audio from Tidal, Qobuz, and local libraries. BluOS extends to NAD and PSB gear, creating a unified ecosystem that prioritizes bit-perfect playback over gimmicks.
Bluesound holds a commanding mid-to-high-end position among discerning audiophiles, celebrated for its stable, award-winning multi-room hi-res streaming that benchmarks the category. No longer unchallenged, the NODE remains a reference, blending accessibility with sonic depth to appeal to knowledgeable buyers seeking modern wireless excellence rooted in Canadian engineering heritage.
