Offered is „Audionet DNP Silber – Upgrade/Revision 2020 – OVP – dokumentiert“ by AudioNET as second-hand device from the category „Pre-Amplifier / Processor“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 5289220534 ends on 03.12.2026 at 06:03 o'clock.
Timing matters a bit here because this is an established, older Audionet network preamp/processor rather than a current model, so value is mostly about condition and completeness now that replacement-generation pressure is real. At €4,190, the ask sits essentially on the market median of €4,186 and just above the €3,962–€4,717 interquartile band, so it reads as fair rather than cheap.
That said, fair is fine when the piece is this well regarded: the DNP has a strong reputation for very low noise, serious analogue preamp quality, and unusually broad connectivity/features for its era. In good condition, it’s a credible buy if you want one box that can do preamp, streaming, and digital hub duties; just make sure the remote, power supply arrangement, and any optional boards or original packaging are accounted for, since those details matter more than chasing a tiny price gap on a unit like this.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Audionet emerged in 1994 from the innovative labs of Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany, where founder Thomas Gessler and fellow electronics researchers developed cutting-edge sensor and measurement amplifiers. Born from a decade of work on low-noise, high-resolution analog circuits for scientific applications, the company—initially Idektron & Co.—launched its first sensation, the Audionet preamplifier, translating to "sound network." All products are designed and handcrafted in Germany, with roots later shifting to Berlin, embodying a rigorous scientific heritage that prioritizes precision engineering over convention.
The brand excels in high-end solid-state electronics, spanning preamplifiers, power amplifiers, monoblocks, integrated amps like the Humboldt, phono stages, CD/DVD players, network components, and external power supplies. Signature technologies include the Ultra-Linear Amplifier (ULA), originally engineered for medical use, ensuring ultra-pure signal paths via custom miniaturized components. Industrial design by Hartmut Esslinger—creator of the Apple IIc—elevates models like the Scientist Series Stern linestage and Heisenberg monoblocks, blending functionality with award-winning aesthetics.
Audionet commands reverence in the ultra-high-end market as a reference-level boutique, setting benchmarks for transparency, power, and stability that audiophiles worldwide anticipate as events. Handmade in small batches, its electronics deliver uncompromised performance for discerning systems, from stereo purists to advanced home theaters, backed by a global reputation for pushing hi-fi boundaries with scientific rigor.
