Boxed, with little use.rHas been in storage with the rest of the hifi and have now made the difficult decision to sell. The amplifier comes with a large button remote, power cable and owners manual. It is also within its 10 year warranty
Densen’s gear has a strong reputation for understated, well-built performance, and this one is priced above the current used-market norm. Against recent GBP comps, £825 sits well over the £696 75th percentile, so this is an ambitious ask rather than a fair or bargain buy.
The upside here is mainly for someone who specifically wants a clean, higher-end example and values the brand’s usual strengths: solid engineering, a confident, refined presentation, and a product that tends to attract committed owners. At excellent condition, it’s more appealing than a tired cheaper listing, but at this level I’d want clear proof of provenance, proper operation, and any included extras before paying up.

Densen Audio Technologies is a Danish hi-fi brand founded in 1988 in Esbjerg, Denmark, by Thomas Sillesen. It has long kept its production and identity closely tied to Danish engineering, with a strong emphasis on compact, minimalist design and upgradeable architecture. The company is still active and remains best known under the shortened “Densen” name.
Its core range centers on electronics rather than loudspeakers or vinyl gear. Densen is primarily associated with amplifiers, including integrated amplifiers, preamps, power amps and phono stages, and it also offers digital sources such as streamers and DAC-equipped components. The brand’s products tend to be modular and serviceable, with a reputation for short signal paths and a very restrained aesthetic.
In the market, Densen sits in the upper mid-range to high-end niche: not mass-market, but also not an ultra-luxury statement brand. It has built a loyal following among listeners who value musical, unfussy sound, solid build quality and long-term ownership. Its reputation is strongest with buyers who prefer thoughtfully engineered electronics over feature-heavy all-in-one systems.
