Verbaut ist ein langhubiger 10-Zoll-Harman-Kardon-Treiber aus dem bekannten HKTS-11-Subwoofer. Das Chassis wurde vollständig getestet und funktioniert einwandfrei.
Es spielt sauber, ohne Kratzen oder Nebengeräusche.
Der Gleichstromwiderstand wurde zusätzlich gemessen und liegt bei 3,55 Ohm – passend zur originalen Nennimpedanz von 4 Ohm.
Die Box ist kein originales Harman-Kardon-Aktivgehäuse mehr, sondern ein passiver Selbstbau im ähnlichen Format.
Innen ist das Gehäuse mit Akustikwolle gedämmt. Durch die Bassreflexöffnung spielt der Subwoofer druckvoll und deutlich erwachsener, als man es bei einem einzelnen 10-Zöller zunächst erwarten würde.
