I am disposing my personal collection of vacuum tube and vintage solid state components.Also listed on eBay, from my personal collection is a cosmetically flawless and beautiful sounding Marantz 2238B stereo receiver.I am primarily a vacuum tube audiophile, but have owned this receiver (and many others) for at least 20 years (from my father’s collection) and only played this on occasion, in my office, so the circuit components are practically new and all original.Although not needed, I installed new Kemet low ESR power/filter capacitors in the power supply, just to be safe. Nothing else was needed.Flushed out and blow dried the chassis with Ampmedic Dielectric Component Wash to include all controls, input/outputs, speaker connections, tuner, etc.Installed new, attractive blue LED lighting.Although unnecessary the faceplate and its back plate interior have been cleaned.I applied my highly regarded Ampmedic Tolex and Cabinet Protector Finish, ‘The Juice’, to the leather like cabinet finish for a lustrous, hard as nails finish.
