Is US$351 the kind of number that wins you the Siemens, or just gets you in the door? For this model, it’s on the ambitious side: recent used asking prices cluster around roughly US$120 to US$235, with clean examples often landing closer to US$145 to US$200, so US$351 sits well above the usual range.
That said, the RS 444 is a desirable late-’70s German receiver with a nice reputation for build quality, good tuner performance, and an upscale look that still appeals to vintage-hi-fi buyers. If this one is truly original, fully working, and cosmetically sharp, it has some collector pull—but at this price, I’d want proof of recent servicing, strong function on all inputs, and a complete, clean package before calling it a buy.
