Onkyos top of the line förförstärkare säljes. 3 preout varav 1 är dedikerad servoutgång om man äger ett M-5090 slutsteg. 2 phono MM/MC, justerbar last. 2 tape play/rec. Subsonicfilter 15/20 Hz/off. Gediget bygge, vikt 10.5 kg. Riktigt bra försteg som är sällsynt på den svenska marknaden. Ser helst att det avhämtas på plats men kan skickas mot förskottsbetalning via Swish. Is this the right preamp to buy now, or should you wait for a cleaner deal? At kr6,000, it sits above the kr5,244 75th percentile and is clearly ambitious versus the typical used market; it’s not an outrage if the unit is exceptionally clean or freshly serviced, but it isn’t a bargain at this level.
That said, this model is well regarded for a refined, full-bodied presentation and solid phono-era engineering, so a good example can still be a rewarding long-term buy. The upside is real if it’s been kept original, properly functioning, and comes with proof of care; just make sure the controls are quiet, inputs switch cleanly, and no servicing issues are lurking, because older preamps can be great value only when they’re healthy.

Onkyo traces its roots to postwar Japan, founded in 1946 in Osaka by Takeshi Goda, an engineer at Matsushita Electric who envisioned high-quality Japanese loudspeakers. Initially established as Osaka Denki Onkyo K.K., the company began production in 1948 with the acclaimed ED-100 speaker featuring a 25 cm driver, quickly building a reputation through LP concerts and innovative designs that resonated with audiophiles.
The brand excels in premium home audio, renowned for AV receivers, hi-fi amplifiers, and surround sound speakers that deliver exceptional clarity and power. Its portfolio spans turntables, DACs, headphones, and cables, bolstered by acquisitions like Pioneer's home electronics division in 2015, enabling cutting-edge integrations such as internet radio and high-resolution streaming.
Onkyo holds a solid mid-tier position in the hi-fi market, prized by discerning buyers for reliable performance and value rather than ultra-high-end exotica. Despite bankruptcy challenges in the late 2010s, its revival under new ownership preserves a legacy of technological innovation and pure sound enjoyment, appealing to both vintage enthusiasts and modern home cinema setups.
