This is a seller’s market at US$795: it sits above the US$750 75th percentile and clearly past the typical US$705 median, so the ask is ambitious rather than a bargain.
That said, the L71 is a well-regarded vintage Telefunken deck with real enthusiast appeal, and clean, original examples can justify a premium when they’re complete and serviced. If this one is truly tidy and includes the right accessories, it’s still worth a look—but at this price I’d want strong evidence of condition, originality, and proper operation before leaning in.
